december 96: pushed from a strong sense of solidarity, and due to the work of some buddhist monks of the ILTK of Pomaia (Pisa) in virtue of the "transparency" of management of the relation with the sponsored people, Ricky Swaczy and Serenella Giorgetti begin the program of sponsorship for some Tibetan children and monks.

august 97: being aware of the precarious conditions that afflict the Tibetan community, a pyramid of solidarity was activated and by the kind help of many friends, a lot Tibetan find a sponsor.

january 98: the legal constitution of an association is really necessary, the adherence increase swiftly.

april 98: KidAid is officially established. The day 27 is constituted, with notarial action and statute, the association non Profit named KidAid with the following Chief executive volunteers: Riccardo A. may 99: Gieffe fashion srl owner of the brand Montefiore children apparel, offers the availability for help KidAid.

september 99: thanks to the help of Montefiore, KidAid is out with an advertising campaign on the magazine Donna Moderna and Moda Bimbi e Bebè, for the collection of funds for a disabled center and for children programs of sponsorship/support.

january 2000: KidAid is pledged to promote a fund raising project for the construction of Karuna Home a center for disabled people in Bylakuppe. (www.karunahome.com)

april 2000: Linet/Rome Web Hoster offers a new webspace for KidAid, a renewal KidAid website project is established.

october 2000: KidAid presents in Milan in collaboration with Le Studio and photographer A.N. Fabian, a photographic exibhition on the Tibetan community of Bylakuppe, Dist. Mysore-India

october 2000: thanks to Onlyfashion, Grafcolor and Arbe Grafiche and A.N. Fabian, KidAid publish the photographic book: KidAid Documentary.

october 2001: KidAid receives an official acknowledgment from the Tibetan Government by a letter of gratitude from Lobsang Nyima, Minister for Home Affairs.

may 2003: Achim Lippot, worldwide known photographer, documents in a new report the present condition of the Tibetan Community in Bylakuppe, India.

june 2003: KidAid is out with an advertising campaign on the international magazine Kidswear, thanks to Kidswear Publisher that offer a free page to advert KidAid activities.

The work done until today is a lot, considering that it comes from volunteers and supporters as you that with their kind contribution, give a concrete help to a human being in difficulty to have a better life and make a reality of KidAid non profit project.

Thanks to all therefore, also in behalf of Ven. Geshe Jampa Gyatso, that maked possible the accomplishment of the projects of help for the Tibetan people. Actually many babies, boys, girls and monks, found a sponsor thanks to KidAid activities, but a lot are still in stand-by. We have a waiting-list of person that wait for a help. If someone of you is able and want to help us to find new sponsor can contact us directly via e-mail or directly at KidAid seat.

In the phase of evolution of the association we integrated also a new formula of support that it is called KidAid DIRECT, studied specially for those who want to contribute with single/unique donation The funds will be managed and distributed directly from KidAid for sponsorships and/or charitable projects of help. Therefore free donations are most welcome.
